Recognized as one of Alberta's Top Employers (2016)

Here are some of the reasons why SAIT was selected as one of Alberta's Top Employers (2016):

  • In addition to the organization's regular health benefits plan, SAIT employees have the option to choose between a health spending account, which can be used to top-up existing coverage, or a wellness account, a taxable benefit that can be used for wellness-related expenses such as a personal trainer or gym equipment
  • SAIT invests in the long-term development of employees through generous tuition subsidies for courses taken at outside institutions (up to $10,000) and subsidies for professional accreditation
  • SAIT maintains the "SAIT's Alive" organization to encourage retired and former employees to stay connected to the school and participate in recreational and social activities -- members of the organization also receive a variety of benefits, such as discounted membership fees to campus fitness facilities, access to the library system, and free on-campus parking
