  • TMMC employees established a unique charity garden onsite called the "Giving Garden" -- employees volunteer to tend the garden, gaining valuable experience in the process, and donate the garden's organic fruits and vegetables for donation to a local women and children's centre -- the company recently added a pollinator garden to support pollinator species such as bees and bat habitat boxes at its Woodstock location to help control mosquitoes naturally
  • TMMC's Environmental Engineering Specialists team is comprised of employees from across the company who meet regularly to discuss energy, water, waste and emissions reduction initiatives and coordinate the company's overarching Energy Management Organization -- additionally, employees can provide feedback on environmental initiatives through TMMC's unique "Kaizen Circles", with implemented suggestions earning employees "eco-points" that ultimately translate into financial bonuses and donations to the Toyota Nature Centre at the Shades Mills Conservation Area
